Original: On top of the raving reviews, NieR: Automata was recently reported to exceeded one million digital and total shipment sales, making it a renowned success! In celebration, Square Enix hosted a “One Million Commemoration” live stream for the game and detailed some DLC releasing in Japan on May 2 and “coming soon” to America and Europe.
The DLC bundle 3C3C1D119440927 includes three new colosseum areas and sub-quests. Rewards for completion of these quests include new costumes for the 2B, 9S and A2, new tracks added to the jukebox, new equipment and accessories, and more. The DLC also comes with a new difficulty mode tailoring to speed-runners.
One of the funnest additions is the inclusion of two bosses in the Colosseum: Square Enix president and CEO Yosuke Matsuda, and PlatinumGames president and CEO Kenichi Sato. Defeating both will net players valuable items.
