Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite Gets A Story Trailer And Release Date

What a way to kick off your Tuesday morning, huh?

As you have seen above, Capcom has released a new story trailer for the next entry in the long-running Marvel vs Capcom franchise. The trailer introduces the antagonist of the story, Ultron Sigma – a fusion of the two menacing villains from both Marvel and Capcom. The trailer also shows additional characters such as Thor, Hulk, Strider, Chris Redfield, Hawkeye, Chun-Li, and Rocket Raccoon along with previously seen characters like Iron Man, Megaman, Captain America and Captain Marvel.

To cap off the excitement, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite releases September 19th, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (mods galore!). According to the Capcom Unity blog,

“And once you’ve (presumably!) saved the universe in Story Mode, you’ll still have Arcade, Training and Mission modes to consider, plus various multiplayer offerings, naturally.”

Also, there are various versions to preorder:

Standard Edition ($59.99 MSRP): Receive the game, Warrior Thor and Evil Ryu costumes.

Deluxe Edition ($89.99 MSRP): Receive the main game, the Warrior Thor, Evil Ryu, Gladiator Hulk, and Command Mission X costumes. The Deluxe Edition also includes the 2017 Character Pass, which gives you access to six post-launch characters – the first one being Sigma.

Collector’s Edition ($199.99 MSRP): Includes the Deluxe Edition and four beautifully detailed, interlinking dioramas from TriForce, plus LED-powered Infinity Stones.
