Some big news for Persona fans today! Atlus announced three new Persona spin-off games during its Persona Super Live P-Sound Bomb!!!! 2017 event: Persona 5 Dancing Star Night, Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night, and Persona Q2. A quick reminder that these announcements are for Japan, but it’s highly likely we will see these games come West.
Both Persona 5 Dancing Star Night and Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night are rhythm games in which the main cast from the game they are from are shown dancing to the music from their respective games. Both are follow ups to Persona 4: Dancing All Night that released on the PS Vita a few years back.
Persona 5’s OST offers some of the best music in the series, so fans of it should definitely pay attention to the new additions and remixes in its rhythm game.
Persona 5 Dancing Star Night and Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night have a window release for Spring 2018 on PS4 and PS Vita.
The third title in their announcement is Persona Q2 for the Nintendo 3DS, a follow up game to Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. Persona Q is a first-person dungeon crawler JRPG with a chibi art style, so you can expect the same for Persona Q2. No release window was attached to the teaser, so it may be some time before Atlus is ready to reveal anything about it.
On top of the exciting Persona game announcements, there will also be Persona 5 the Animation set to release in 2018.
